im bad about writing in this blog site, as of late i have been doing more "freestyle" writing. I have been drawing a lot and writing in my journal. But for those few who do still read these posts i need to inform you that i am doing great. I now reside outside of Adelaide right across the street from a beautiful beach. Part of that beach is a nude clade area. This is the second beach i have lived on and i think im gonna make that a permanent trend. This morning for example i went for a job and workout along the beach as it was raining. The sun was still shining and it was incredibly relaxing and exilerating. Australia is quite beautiful no doubt.
So i am really enjoying Adelaide. It has a small town feel to it, but it is a large city. I am job searching here, but im also undecided if i will head west, north through the red center and ayers rock to Darwin and then Bali, or stay here. We shall see in the next couple weeks, either way i am really enjoying myself. There is inspiration aplenty so i have been writing, drawing, and writing music. I recently bought a guitar and fell in love with it. Some good results are coming out (i actually wrote a good journal entry on how musical instruments take on the souls of their owners). So all is well. Gotta catch up on so much computer time, i gotta go.

March 30 time flies...
so just a quick update... Not much is new. Sierra and i are still in Beachport, we are still living with Kirby. Its gonna be sad to say goodbye, a good friendship has developed. Like i said in a past blog that is probably my least favorite part of travelling... saying goodbye to a deep connection. Thank god for technology in communication.
The only real change with us is that we have not been working much as of late (winters are dead around here) so i have been doing a lot of reading, writing, drawing, playing guitar, yoga, etc... you know personal development and passion chasing. I love it when i get the time to do that. I can't remember if i have mentioned it already but we also have a departure date. We will be leaving right after Easter and heading to Adelaide. We have friends coming down and a big weekend planned and then i will head back with them to Adelaide. Hopefully soon after i can hit the road and head west to Perth and continue what i am here for... seeing the whole continent. There are far too many dance floors to hit up (another of my new found passions). Went out last sat. and danced the night away. Im really being influenced by the Aussie "shuffle" i think it has incorporated itself into my dancing style. I hated it when i first saw it too, funny how things have a way of growing on you.
Anyway, things are well. No complaints. Can't wait to hit the road again and see where the wind blows me.
I hope this finds you all in high spirits and health.

march 16th-still in beachport
I sit and unwind to relax my mind

the future has the potential to shine
Do i try to change it, or let it be as it be
do i take control of destiny, even though i can't see?
Things will always work out for a reason
this belief has never stabbed me with treason
deep down i trust in what the future will bring
It will take me to a state where i am king of all kings
Not sure what i should do??? stay here in Beachport and take sponsorship, or continue my travels and see what else there is. Both are great opportunities and both have pros and cons. Either way ill be fine, and i know the decision will become apparent, but until then i will have moments of confusion. Things do always work out for the best!
Went sand boarding yesterday. Its exactly like snowboarding, except on sand and there is no lift to get you to the top. We went 4wd into the dunes around here and it was drop dead gorgeous. We raced along the shores of the continent as the tide was coming in and we dropped down huge sand hills. At one point the SUV (ute) started to tilt and slide and i thought we were going over. All was good though. We also raced along a dehydrated lake george and drove right down the middle of it. The drought situation here in australia is getting bad, there is going to be more situations where the lakes and water holes start drying out. It was a good experience to drive through a lake, but its something i hope i don't see more of. Yesterday was sweet, some new experiences and the beauty of this land to match. I hope you are having a great day.

been doing a lot of thinking lately. With a lot of thinking comes a lot of writing. With a lot of writing comes poetry, short stories, and a sense of happiness. We have been very fortunate on our journies, especially as of late. I can honestly say that i felt something around me, protecting me, and guiding me on our way across the lower two states of Australia. Its crazy to see what we can do when we believe and motivate ourselves to the core. That is a little of what this poem is about.

Feb. 20th- we are here for a reason
so i still have to write about the hitch hiking experience, but that story is much to long for right now. So instead i will have to tell you all about my deep sea fishing experience. The day after my last blog post i was to head out bright and early for the middle of the ocean to go shark fishing!!! I was so excited i could barely sleep. So this was the first time in my life that i had ever done that.
We arose and were on the water by about 6 am and so we were a good distance out in the water when we saw one of the most beautiful sunrises of my life. There are many fires in the area and as you should know when CO2 is released into the air it causes great colors and reflections of light. Pretty pollution... what a beautiful disaster. Well with all the fires going on we saw an amazing sun jump into the sky and ignite the world with flashes of pink, purple, orange, and other colors. It was a sight i won't soon forget. So after about 1.15 hours of traveling we are about 30-40 kms out to sea and anchor in to go fishing. Throughout the day we catch about 7 diff. species of fish, around 60 in total. Our goal was gummy shark, and we only caught one about 4 feet in size. The majority of my fish were smaller sharks and goondards. Blah blah blah. If you want to know about the fishing part then ask me later. Lets get to the good stuff...
The amount of wildlife that far out to sea is astounding! We saw Albatros, tiny birds that literally skip along the water, and a seal that was just chillin on his back and sunbaking. Took some pics of this dude as i swear he waved and bounced. Soon after this we started hearing an odd but large sounding noise. Soon to come we saw a whale and her calf swimming by. They were a few meters out, but being in a small boat and seeing a huge wale in the middle of the ocean is such a beaufiful thing. Soon after this i had my first wild shark experience. We were anchored in and i saw some light flash from under the water, and immediately a fin popped up. It was a 6 foot Mako just checking us out and patrolling our boat. He soon got bored and left, but that was a crazy experience. I was only feet from it.
This was also about the time that i saw a huge flock of birds in the distance. As they got closer we noticed some splashing in the water and just assumed they were tuna chasing baitfish, but they kept on coming closer to our boat and this was the time i pulled out my camera. It turned out to be about a 100 or so dolphins!!! They came right up to the boat and started dancing and playing all around us. I couldn't believe what i was seeing. You can just feel their energy and excitement for life. They are such friendly, intelligent, happy beings ( you know some say they are aliens from another star system-google it). At this point i had to pinch myself to make sure i was not dreaming. I could stick my hand in the water and touch a dolphin! I would have jumped in and swam with them if i wasn't in shark infested water. Again i swear that i could see the smile on the dolphins faces, they blew my mind. After they came through i could feel a difference in the atmosphere. I will never forget it. Just in case you don't believe me i have the video to prove it, ill try and get that up on Facebook soon.
So after a seal, a shark, whales, dolphins, all sorts of fish and birds, we returned to gut our catch. Before that though we checked some of the crayfish pots, kept a few of the large ones, and headed home. Gutting all the fish took a while, but after that we had a few beers and enjoyed one of the best, most freshest fish meals i have ever had. I will never forget that day.
Even some of the local townsfolk have not been able to experience what we did that day. I can't believe the amount of life experiences we have had here in such a short amount of time. We are here for a reason, and that was just one of the many. Other reasons have been presenting themsevles in the last two days, one is to help someone with a huge problem in their life (story for another time), and yet again ill say... let intuition be your guiding factor in the decisions in your life. With a positive outlook and energy, you will not be dissapointed.

Feb. 16th... and the last week or so of my life
has been incredible. I don't have enough time to write the whole story now, but i want to let you all know that i am more than just well. I am living on cloud nine right now! Have you ever had those moments where you can feel your pulse race like the power of a 100 tsunamis? the moments where you just have to sit at the top of a huge rock overlooking the edge of a continent and scream your heart out with the all excitement you have ever felt?(thats exactly what i did). The moments that make you feel alive? The moments that you live for? I can only begin to describe the way i feel.
Well we decided to leave Melbourne last week. We were broke and wanted to head to Adelaide as planned. The cheapest, and most exciting way, we figured we could get there was to hitch-hike. I had only done this once before and wanted to do it again, just to push my limits and experience. (After all i am writing a book involving all of this). I felt good about it, so i went with that notion. In the end it brought me to my current situation and place of residency... Beachport in Southern Australia ( a small fishing community along the famous Great Ocean Road). Never have i been to a place that is so hospitable and welcoming. On top of that there are some of the most beautiful stretches of coastline with no one in sight. And in addition to that there is something magical in the air. The energy of this place is profound, the kind of place that can only be described as a secret treasure buried among the sands of the coast. I heard someone refer to this area as a vortex-A place that attracts only those who are deserving and open to the benefits that it has to offer. The population all knows it, and is very happy. They all took us in and treated us, not like kids off the street or backpackers, but family.
In the end we debated, but decided that we could not leave just yet. Its too good of an opportunity to pass up, our previous plans will have to be put on hold.
So later i will have to write on how we got here. The whole hitchin experience, which is a story in itself. It was no coincidence, as intuition was the guiding factor. We had a few options as what route to take and for some reason, we both felt as if we were being pulled this way. It was the longer direction, but proved to be the right one.
Again, ill have to explain the whole story later, but we now live in Beachport with a dude our age, named Kirby. He is a chef (im eating for free and its almost comparable to moms cooking!!!! ... almost), and we get along great. I can tell that a great friendship is forming. We live a block from km's and km's of the most beautiful, deserted, beaches in Australia (soo many of those). We work at the bar on the beach, and we just do odds and ends around the place and get to drink, eat, and stay for free. The owner and his wife have taken us in and treated us better than any stranger in my entire life. They are some of the most genuine and caring people. They are losing money on us being here, but yet all they want is for us to be happy and remember our experience here. Kirby is gonna hook us up with a surf board. We made friends with some locals who have taken us out and gone Crayfishing (that was an awesome experience). Tomorrow the same guys are gonna take us out and go deep sea shark fishing!!!! All for free. The other day we went abalogne diving and then cooked em up. So it has been incredible. Why wouldn't we stay right?? so the next few weeks are gonna be exciting and im sure we will have many many more stories to write. Hopefully i can get them all up online.
Sychronicities have brought me here, and so i cannot stress enough to open up and drop all fears that society has tought you. Be open to the power of the universe and all of your postive thoughts will manifest into you living your dream. This is proof.

January 23-27th- the advent of the dark moon of aquarius and the solar eclipse
if the title wasn't enough to hint at the madness that was this last weekend, well then please do understand that the energy was out of this world (pun intended... the dark moon... solar eclipse...got it?? okay good...). If im not mistaken the shift into aquarius is supposed to represent a shift in consciousness. Rainbow Serpent was the perfect festival to represent this symbol. That in conjunction with the solar eclipse (which was only seen in certain parts of the world like Asia or Japan, and Brazil i think) meant that the vampires were coming out! There was something in the air that you could feel. Even before the festival began the vibration of everything was so intensified that I knew something big was about to happen. When i found out about the moon and eclipse i knew it was coming. Then the Rainbow Serpent Festival began...
It was a week of preparation and months of anticipation. Now that it is all over i look back and think of how great it would be if everyone could experience that intense level of awareness and consciousness. It was my first festival and one of the greatest memories of recent times, and def. one of the tops in my entire life. Being surrounded by thousands of like-minded individuals is the best way to really let go of ego and feel life's vibration and start the process to evolve to another level. I wish it didn't have to end this morning, even though i am exhausted.
So we arrived on Friday afternoon, got a perfect camp site that was close to everything and started the weekend. We basically got acquainted with the city and the layout and then started to meet soon to be friends. We danced, we partied, and saw some amazing art shows. I ended up getting painted and this is when the energy really took control and we let loose.
Saturday is the most memorable day for me and one of the greatest days of my life. I awoke to start my day on Reiki. My healer said that she was getting some strong psychic pulls coming from me so she asked to incorporate that into her reiki session and i can't believe how accurate she was and how much that effected me. Her "specialty" was that "she had the healing power of mother universe." I didn't really understand what she meant at first. A lot of it is really personal but she was able to read me like a book: She knew i had a few blocked chakras (my throat and my stomach-which i have had problems with lately), she pointed out some anxiety related issues i have had (probably related to traveling), she said that i needed to release a lot of energy and just go out and yell, she said that i needed to give affection and receive it (that i should go ask random strangers for hugs), she knew i was a performer, she knew a lot about me, and she even predicted something about a red star tattoo (she didn't know much about it except that it was on someone else and that it related to me) and how it was going to have a lot of significance for me. I still don't fully understand the whole meaning of this. Anyway because she had the healing power of mother universe she said that all i had to do was ask and i would receive. That the universe would provide me because my intention was good, and it was magnified through her. I was skeptical, but did it anyway. Well it worked, and worked in a matter of minutes!
I finished the reiki session and talked to her for a bit (i highly recommend that you experience the power of reiki if you never have. Im committed to learning how to harness its powers. Every time i utilize it, im amazed). After i left her, i was walking around and ended up at a mantra chanting meditation class. This immediately after reiki, was awesome. Then immediately after meditation i met a massuese who gave me a lomi lomi massage. Its a hawaiian full body massage that not only massages but works positive energy into your system and releases negative energy from you. He also gave me incredible advice and sent me on my way. Well all this healing is exactly what i needed and part of what i had asked for. The compound effects from all three of these sessions sent my energy into an enlightened blissfull state and those around me seemed to notice. I can't even describe the high i was feeling. This was part one of the day, part two was even better...
Its getting long, ill leave out the details, but sierra and i hit the dance floor and met two lovely ladies. One of these ladies i fell in love with. I don't know if i believe in love at first sight, but this girl stopped me in my tracks and i could tell that she felt the same. It was crazy to feel it so intense. Just as the Reiki healer had said... incredible attraction and affection was there if i just asked for it to come. The sickest opening ceremony started and somehow the energy rose to another level and one of the craziest nights of my life ensued. I have never ever, in my entire life, reached that level of euphoria and pure nirvana: I saw things in ways i have never seen them before, I felt things i have never felt, I tasted things like they have never tasted, I heard music sound more beautiful than ever, I can't even describe it. I have never been on such a high vibration as i was that night, and i was able to share it with some of my closest friends and even a new friend. I will never forget it. I didn't even have to eat or drink much and i was perfectly fine. Ask me later and ill give you more details from the night.
Sunday we dressed up in our ninja turtle costumes. We had body paint, our turtle shells, masks, etc. and me being the orange party dude i had to have some spinning poi for nunchaku. People were so appreciative of our costumes and the effort we put into it that we would have to stop about every five feet and take pictures. We ended up taking hundreds of pics with random strangers. We got filmed and will end up on the Rainbow Serpent DVD. Check out the website for some of our ninja turtle pics (its on the facebook page). We just cruised around and crashed the dance floors with our turtle shuffles and had a blast. We even met people after the fact who didn't see us but were still talking about our costumes. I had no idea they would be so popular. Finch had Crang hanging out of his shorts and even painted it green for effect. It was so funny to see peoples reactions to it when they didn't notice it at first.
That night was amazing and I saw some of the sickest poi shows i have ever seen. Spinning fire is another thing that i am dedicated to learn. Its such an elegant, stylish art form that makes people stop and stare. I am hooked. I saw some performers do things that seem humanly impossible. The rest of the festival was awesome as well, but we took it fairly easy and had to recover.
The festival went all the way until this morning. We had a great time and didn't want to leave so we stayed all the way to the end. We weren't sure how we were going to get home and ended up hitchin it the whole way back. We got lucky and met some beautiful ladies who had room in a camper van, and just like mother universe said when you ask you receive. It was sychronicity at work and we ended up helping each other out. They needed info. that we had and they helped us in ways we needed. It was no coincidence that we met them. Its amazing how things work out sometimes, but it all has to do with the power of pure intent and desire.
So we are back in Melbourne for now and staying with Alex again, at least for a few days. I have a date tomorrow with the lovely lady i met and who knows what will happen. I do know that i want to hit the road despite the fact that i met her. If you know me, you know that i won't let anything get in the way of my goals, we shall see...
So Rainbow Serpent was an incredible festival that set the tone for a way of consciousness i want to be permanent. Its amazing to tap into the deepest power of the human body! Can't wait for Burning Man.
